Calling, Notes and Skip Info
Click-to-call, calling hours, the area code rule, notes, and adding skip results.
Calling
Each phone number has a Call button. With the MicroSIP softphone it dials for you; without it, it logs the call attempt as a note. Mark numbers Good or Bad as you go.
The debtor’s local time is shown at the top of the account (“OK to call” or “outside calling hours”), worked out from their newest address. Outside 8am–9pm debtor time the Call buttons show Locked.
The Area Code Rule
If your admin turned on “Area code must match the address state”, numbers whose area code doesn’t match the debtor’s state are flagged, and a note with a mismatched number won’t add that number until you confirm.
Notes
- Type in the notes box at the bottom of the account.
- Click Save note, or press Ctrl+Enter.
- Phone numbers and addresses you type in a note are added to the account automatically. A pop-up shows what was added.
- Put REF: in front of a reference’s info to add them to References.
Adding Skip Results
Paste skip-trace results right into a note and TraceForge picks out the phones and addresses. For vehicles and property, open Assets, paste into Paste skip results and click Fill from paste, then Save assets. Assets from skip results are possible assets, not verified ownership.
