What We Collect
When you use TraceForge, we collect account information (name, email, agency), login credentials (handled by our authentication provider, never stored by us in plain text), and, if you connect one, the login details for an outside database such as CollectionsMax. TraceForge also stores the collections data your agency puts into it: consumer accounts, contact details, notes, payment records, and a log of what each of your users does.
Your Agency’s Data
The consumer and account data in TraceForge belongs to your agency. We store and process it only to run TraceForge for you, keep it separate from every other agency’s data, and never use it for anything else. Social Security numbers are stored encrypted. Card and bank account numbers are not stored in TraceForge.
How We Use Information
We use account information to operate the service — authenticating you, running the features you use, billing your agency, and sending account-related emails (logins, password resets, and notifications about your own account or application).
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that make TraceForge work — our database and authentication provider, our email delivery provider, our hosting provider, and our payment processor (Stripe) — each of whom only receives what they need to perform their specific function.
Security
See our Security & Compliance page for the specific technical measures we have in place.
Your Choices
You can request a copy of your account information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by contacting us directly.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll let account holders know rather than updating it silently.
