Your free trial, the demo accounts, and the five steps to get your agency running.
Your Free Trial
Your trial lasts 14 days and doesn’t need a card. It starts with 60 fictional demo accounts (file numbers start with TEST-) and four demo people (Steve, Victor, Tim and Kip), so you can try the work screen, payments and reports right away.
The Overview tab of your dashboard shows how many trial days are left and a Getting started checklist.
The Checklist
- Add your people: Users & teams. Each person gets their own login by email. See “Adding your people”.
- Bring in your accounts: Import/Export → Import, for a client’s Excel or CSV file. Duplicates are checked automatically.
- Upload your letters: Letter templates. Your own Word letters, filled in from any account.
- Connect your agency’s email: also on Letter templates, so letters are emailed from your own address.
- Subscribe: Billing. You aren’t charged until your trial ends.
Clearing Out the Demo Accounts
When you’re ready for your real accounts, click Clear demo data on the Overview tab. It removes the TEST- accounts and the four demo people. Your own accounts and people aren’t touched.
Nothing to Install
TraceForge runs in the web browser. Each person signs in at traceforge.solutions from any computer. Your data is kept in your agency’s own database, backed up every night. The only optional install is the free MicroSIP softphone, for click-to-call.
